To preserve and promote the cultural heritage of Lagos (Eko), foster unity among members, support humanitarian initiatives, and positively impact communities through service, leadership, education, and philanthropy.

Eko Club Austin Texas proudly traces its roots to the vision of Eko Club International, which was formally incorporated in Texas in September 2000. The organization was established to preserve the enduring spirit of Lagos beyond Nigeria's borders while bringing together Lagos indigenes, descendants, and friends across the diaspora.
Today, ECAT continues this legacy by celebrating Yoruba and Lagos heritage, promoting cultural excellence, supporting humanitarian causes, empowering members, and strengthening communities locally and internationally.

Dear Distinguished Guests,
It is with immense joy and gratitude that I welcome you all to Austin, Texas, on behalf of the Executive Council and the entire membership of Eko Club Austin Texas (ECAT). We are truly honored to host you as we celebrate two significant milestones—the 15th Anniversary of ECAT and the First Quarterly Meeting of Eko Club International in 2027.
Celebrating 15 Years of Excellence
Fifteen years ago, a handful of dedicated visionaries came together with a simple but powerful dream—to build a home away from home for Lagosians in Central Texas. They envisioned a club where our rich culture, heritage, and values would be preserved while creating opportunities to serve our members and give back to both our local communities and our homeland. Today, their vision has become a reality.
Our Journey
Over the past fifteen years, ECAT has grown beyond being just an organization. We have become a family. Together, we have celebrated milestones, supported one another through life's challenges, preserved our Lagos heritage, and carried out charitable and community development projects that have impacted lives both here in Texas and back home in Nigeria.
