About their Leadership
Hon. Caroline Oyedeji is a distinguished healthcare professional, community leader, and Elder Advisor of Eko Club Austin Texas (ECAT). Born and raised in Ita Akanni, Lagos Island, she has dedicated her life to education, scientific research, financial empowerment, and community service.
She earned an OND in Civil Engineering in Nigeria before relocating to the United States, where she studied Pre-Med/Chemistry at Bethune-Cookman College, obtained a Master's Degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Florida A&M University, and later earned an MBA in Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix, Houston.
Professionally, Hon. Oyedeji enjoyed a distinguished career as a Research Scientist at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where she later retired. She currently serves with World Financial Group, educating individuals, families, and business owners on financial planning, wealth building, and generational wealth transfer.
A passionate advocate for community service, she has served in numerous leadership roles, including Vice President of ECAT, Chair of the Advisory Committee at Houston Community College, President of Awe Association of Houston, and Vice President of Egbe Obinrin Yoruba, where she also previously served as Secretary and Health Committee Chair. She is also the Co-Founder of African Cancer Care, actively supports ECI Medical Missions, and has volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts, Meals on Wheels, Houston Food Bank, and the Rehoboth Foundation.
A devoted Christian, she serves as a Sunday School Teacher and actively participates in church discipleship, choir, and health ministries.
Through her exceptional leadership, compassion, and lifelong dedication to serving others, Hon. Caroline Oyedeji continues to embody the values of Unity, Heritage, Service, and Excellence that define Eko Club Austin Texas (ECAT).
