About their Leadership

Hon. Kehinde Yusuff is a dedicated healthcare professional, community leader, and passionate advocate for preserving the rich heritage and values of Lagos. Born on Inabere Street, Epetedo, Lagos Island, she received her primary education at Jamatul Islamiya School and her secondary education at Lagos African Church Grammar School, Ifako-Agege.

She began her professional career in Nigeria as an International Telephone Operator with NET, later NITEL, where she served for five years before relocating to the United States in the late 1980s. In the U.S., she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Purdue University, Indiana, and has built a distinguished career in healthcare.

Hon. Kehinde comes from a family with a rich history of public service. She is the niece of Counselor Alhaji Bolaji Yusuff, one of the founding leaders of Lagos State in 1967 and the first Counselor of Lagos Island during the Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe era. She is also the niece of Rear Admiral Adekunle Shamusideen Lawal, former Military Governor of Lagos State (1975–1977).

Since joining Eko Club Austin Texas (ECAT) in 2021, Hon. Kehinde has been an active and dedicated member. She has served as General Secretary since 2022, providing strong administrative leadership and ensuring the efficient operation of the chapter. At the international level, she served on the ECI Housing/Land Committee (2023–2025) and currently serves on the ECI Membership Committee, contributing to the continued growth and development of Eko Club International.

Through her professionalism, leadership, and commitment to service, Hon. Kehinde Yusuff continues to uphold the values of Unity, Heritage, Service, and Excellence that define Eko Club Austin Texas (ECAT).
